Mauve Over

A nice bag can really spice up a simple outfit. I’d rather save up for an expensive purse and buy cheaper simple comfortable clothes to balance it out. It’s crazy how one accessory can make something simple look so fancy!

I recently stumbled across this Michael Kors Quilted Fulton bag and have been obsessed ever since. It’s not new, but its new to me! They have it in other colors as well and I really wanna get my little hands on those too! My excuse to buy this bag was “I don’t have any little small purses to wear on our trip to Great America next weekend.” (Well it’s true!)

I paired it with a crop top tee and high waisted shorts, with beaded strappy sandals I bought from Marshall’s literally years ago. I’ve been wearing them for the past 2 or 3 summers and the soles are getting really worn, and I have no idea where to repurchase them! The brand says “Forever” but that doesn’t really narrow it down. I like to reuse old things until they break, especially if they are cute and I love them. In this blog you will see me re-wear items in many different ways. So get used to these sandals;)

I’m normally not matchy matchy with colors, but I just so happened to wear this burgundy mauve shirt with this new Sally Hansen nail polish I got the other day called “Mauve Over” (hence this blog title) which I thought was such a cute name.
