Another import show! On August 1, 2015 was Spocom Norcal San Jose at Club Auto Sport. I attended as one of Spocom’s official models. This was my first Spocom show and I had a lot of fun. Unfortunately my sister couldn’t attend with me, but I did meet up with Cyn, my Mexipina twinsie I met at HIN. We have so many coincidences with each other! We arrived to Spocom at almost the exact same time, AND we had the same strappy shirt on but different color! With that shirt I wore high waisted shorts, Jessica Simpson heels, and a silver chain necklace. 

We mostly walked around, took pictures, and networked with many people. The show was outdoor/indoor, with mostly being outdoor. I saw a lot of photographers and fans that were also at HIN who remembered us, which was cool. It was great seeing everyone again! I planned to enter the bikini contest, which started at 6pm. They gave us a sheet to list 3 interesting facts about ourselves so they can announce it on stage. I had NO idea what to write to my 3 interesting facts were: 1. I work at a wrecking yard so hit me up if you need parts;) 2. I’m Mexipina (mexican & filipina) 3. I’m Team Lexus. 

They had us start getting ready for the bikini contest at around 5:15. They also supplied us with bikinis from Sugar Bottoms to wear onstage. They gave us a LARGE Spocom shirt to wear over our bikinis and we would remove the shirt and throw it out to the crowd. Once the time came, it turned out I was freakin #1 in line!! How nerve racking! It ended up turning out ok, I didn’t win but congrats to the girls who did. 

Overall the show was pretty small, even smaller than HIN. I always though Spocom was a super big show, but seems like many people aren’t attending shows as much this year. I’m sure it will pick up next year. I still had a great time and mingled with a lot of cool people. Hope to see you guys at another show soon! 

Afterwards, I went to visit my mom and sister in San Jose. I ended up leaving at about 11pm and getting home at 1am due to traffic! ugh! Overall I had a good time and even got to see my family so it was a win win situation:)
