Beauty Looks with e.l.f. cosmetics

As part of the e.l.f. cosmetics beauty squad I was able to try out 6 new elf products! If you missed my previous e.l.f. product reviews, read about it here. I’m very impressed with these new products! I hope you guys like the look I came up with in these photos. I’m wearing all four of the e.l.f. makeup products listed. Here are my makeup tutorial details:

  • Prism Eyeshadow Palette: This palette contains 6 gorgeous shades of pink/pastel colors. I used 4 out of the 6 colors, starting with the 4th color, which is the orange shade. I applied the orange shade all over my lid. Afterwards I used the 3rd color (pinkish) in the outer corner V of my eye. Then I applied the 5th color (darker pink) over the V of my eye as well, and blended it towards the middle part of my eyelid. Lastly I applied the 1st color (light) to highlight my brow bone and for the inner corners of my eyes.
    • I’m actually very impressed with the ending result, and I definitely plan on using this palette often. I feel the quality of these shadows were great, easy to blend, and much better than the previous e.l.f. eyeshadows I used.
  • Precision Liquid Eyeliner: Applying a winged eyeliner is a MUST for my everyday makeup look! And this eyeliner really is very precise, easy to use, and lasts all day. The results came out great, and I had no problem using this wand like I’ve had before with other eyeliner wands like this.
  • Moisturizing Lipstick in “Marsala Blush”: These type of colors are my favorite to wear for my lips!! Marsala Blush is a mauve color, very moisturizing, and didn’t feather throughout the day. I didn’t feel like I was wearing sticky lipstick or anything!
  • Illuminating Palette: If I had to choose this would probably be my favorite item of the bunch! This palette contains four different highlight colors. I applied the highlight on my cheek bones, above my bronzer, down the bridge of my nose, cupids bow, chin, and lightly on my forehead. These colors are gorgeous and left my face glowing! I don’t have any good highlight palettes at the moment, so I’m extremely happy I have this one now!
  • Blotting Pads: My face gets extremely oily throughout the day, so these blotting pads really help! The puffer contains adhesive on the bottom, so you just stick the blotting pads with the puffer and pat your face.
  • Lip Stain Remover: This clear gel removes any lip stain color. Sometimes wiping with a tissue just won’t do the job, and this will!
Overall I’m honestly satisfied with my products this month! e.l.f. really knew exactly the items I use often!! I highly recommend trying these products:)

Just a reminder e.l.f. has been having their #playbeautifully challenges on their instagram, @elfcosmetics, so be sure to enter the challenges and you will have a chance to win a mega haul of elf products! Keep an eye out when they post the challenges!
