Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette

When I saw photos start popping up a few months ago of the new Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon’s palette, with its cute heart shaped shadows and pink packaging, I knew I HAD to have it. When I saw it wouldn’t be released until December 8, my jaw immediately dropped and said “Are you serious?!” I saw so many girls on YouTube receiving it early and boy, was I envious!!

I’m a serious fan of the original Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, and use it quite often. I even gave my sister my Naked 2 Palette (hardly used), because it just didn’t compare in quality and color to my Chocolate bar. The Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar colors never caught my attention, but I may purchase that palette in the future. But when I saw the cute Bon Bons palette, it was so CUTE and so DIFFERENT that I just HAD to have it! And I knew I would love the quality as much as my Chocolate bar original

I had heard the Bon Bons palette was being released on December 8, but I had no idea where it would be released. Would it be at Sephora? Ulta? Or only on the Too Faced website? My questions were soon answered on the morning of December 8, when I received the Sephora email announcing: “VIB Exclusive, get the Too Faced Bon Bons palette first!” I immediately purchased it online and received it at my doorstep a couple days later. Apparently it won’t be in stores until mid-January, so I am very thankful I am a Sephora VIB, which allowed me to purchase it in advance.

The palette is absolutely gorgeous in person just as I had expected. The colors are beautiful, the smell of chocolate is delicious, the quality is amazing, the pink packaging of chocolate shaped hearts is to die for, and everything about it is perfect! The names of the colors are also listed beside each shadow, unlike the original Chocolate bar

The Look

I’ve worn a few colors off this palette during the weekend. The look I came up with is fierce and fire. I wore it to a Holiday dinner party and it was a medium deep look.

1. Apply Divinity all over the lid.
2. Apply Molasses Chip over the inner lid.
3. Apply Bordeaux in the outer corner V.
4. Apply Dark Truffle in the outer corner V and blending towards the center lid.
5. Apply Satin Sheets on the top brow bone blending any harsh edges or lines.
6. Apply Cafe Au Lait in the inner corner, blending under the lash line.
7. Apply Dark Truffle under the lash line blending from the outer V to meet with Cafe Au Lait.

That’s the final look! If you try it out let me know what you think:)

I highly recommend this palette! It’s a great addition to your collection and so darn cute!
