Weekend Food!! With cool little taco truck holders:
I hope everyone has been enjoying their Memorial Day Weekend! For me, I’ve definitely been enjoying this three day weekend. Saturday and Sunday have been filled with busy activities, so today is definitely my relax day!
Friday night ended with pizza and East Los High episodes (love that show for some reason!), and Saturday we spent half of the day at my mom and DB’s house. It was extremely hot that day, so I wore high waisted shorts paired with a classy crochet trim cropped tank, my Guess Lace Up sandals, and my vintage Louis Vuitton Sarria mini (thinking about doing a video on this, hmm).
When we arrived, they were putting the finishing touches on the delicious tacos we could smell from miles away. My mom had everything set up so cute and blog-like (AKA perfect for photos), including the awesome taco truck taco holders! The holders are actually a very convenient way to hold up the tacos so the shells won’t get soggy! We had a beautiful lunch outside on my moms gorgeous 6 seater patio table (complete with a canopy for shade and a rotating tray on the center of the table).
After lunch we spent time with them for a few hours and then decided to head to the San Francisco Premium Outlets, since it was only 15 minutes from my moms house. I was actually on a hunt for sunglasses and summer shorts, so it was the perfect time to see if I could find something I liked. We stopped in all kinds of stores, and I ended up finding two pairs of shorts in Levi’s and two pairs of shorts in Hollister. I was originally looking for Gucci sunglasses, but none of them complimented my face – so I settled with these adorable cat eye Kate Spade sunglasses (which I will be showing you guys in an upcoming blog post)! After walking around the outlets for three hours, we finally left and were totally beat!
On Sunday I ended up going to the mall to buy another pair of Hollister shorts. I decided I will be returning one of the Levi’s shorts because when I tried them on at home I wasn’t satisfied as when I tried them on in the store (does that ever happen to you??) yes, it’s annoying haha. Hollister jeans always fit me perfect, so I’m happy I replaced it with one of those. Later that night we drove to Joseph’s sister Sharon’s house and ate dinner and went bowling. It was a fun time and a great ending to the weekend!
I express my appreciation to those who lost their lives fighting and to family members who have lost a loved one. What did you do this Memorial Day Weekend? Let me know in the comments below!
