Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe Holiday Collection

7

I was so excited to finally receive this today! The Grande Hotel Cafe is part of Too Faced Cosmetics Holiday 2016 Collection! It was released on their website September 13, and I immediately snatched it up. Unfortunately their shipping takes quite awhile, so I barely received it today! (I also didn’t know Sephora would have it on their site at the same time, where I could have received it in two days!! *rolls eyes*)

This year’s Holiday Collection for Too Faced is absolutely adorable (like always)! It’s more Christmas/Holiday themed this year with graphics of wreaths, Xmas trees, peppermint and gingerbread cookies!

The Grande Hotel Cafe was the #1 item I needed in the Holiday Collection! I just love the dollhouse box you receive with three eyeshadow palettes and a deluxe sized Better than Sex mascara.

The box features an adorable pink hotel with a removable roof (lid) with doors that open into the hotel cafe. Adorable Christmas Tree graphics with presents underneath (including the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, blush, and lipstick!) which is so creative and cute!

The Hotel comes with three eyeshadow palettes: Eggnog Latte, Peppermint Mocha, and Gingerbread Cookie. They are supposed to have the scent from the name of the palette, but in my opinion they all smell the same. They all have the delicious scent of Christmas, but they don’t have separate smells.

They come in cute little ‘books’ that have a magnetic closure. They are rimmed with the color gold, like they are gold pages in a book. The back of the palettes have a ‘To: and From:” section in case you wanted to give it as a gift and write who its for. Super cute and compact palettes!

Each palette contains 6 matte and shimmer eyeshadows along with a large blush or bronzer. I read many reviews online saying the pigmentation wasn’t great and that the shimmery eyeshadows were straight glitter. I used the Eggnog palette and created an eyeshadow look using all 6 colors with ease. For me they were pigmented and so easy to blend! The colors were gorgeous and lasted all day. I also used the blush which was beautiful and also lasted.

So, you ask….well is it worth it? In my opinion, YES, it definitely is! You get a total of 18 eyeshadows, a bronzer, two blushes, a deluxe mascara, and a cute dollhouse box for a total of $49. The shadows were good quality and worked for me! Too Faced never disappoints me in their eyeshadows, and I’m glad this one didn’t either!

Have you tried The Grande Hotel Cafe out? What do you think about it?! Let me know!
