It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with anything and everything louie! So in today’s post I will be listing my 5 favorite must-have SLG’s (small leather goods). SLG’s are great items to get if you’re just starting your LV collection (and they last forever)! Just be careful though, because once you get one you won’t be able to stop! Here is the list of SLG’s that I love (beginning from my first purchase to most recent):
Small Ring Agenda PM
This PM agenda is what started my Louis Vuitton obsession. I stumbled across this agenda on Youtube and instantly became obsessed. I love planners and being organized, so this agenda really stood out to me. It was also small enough to carry around in my bag and also be used as a wallet. It’s so versatile that I had to have it! It could also be used as a passport cover, notebook cover, photo holder, etc. I purchased this particular one pre-loved in March 2016 and it had no signs of use whatsoever! It’s from 2006 and to this day still has no signs of wear! This is such a durable piece and I still continue to use it daily. I used it as my wallet for quite awhile as well. Key Pouch (formerly known as Key Cles)
This key pouch was my second LV piece but my first brand new purchase ever! I had heard a lot of people say that this was a great starter piece and was also versatile. So a few weeks after I purchased the agenda, I went ahead and ordered the key pouch on the LV website (you see how fast I became obsessed? haha). I also have an unboxing post of this exact key pouch here. This key pouch is over 2 years old now, and as you can see by these photos there is a little tarnishing on the hardware, and the logos on the edge of the canvas have faded a tiny bit. Other than that it’s still in great condition. I definitely don’t baby this piece like some of my other pieces. I used it for my keys for quite a few months. You can also use it as a mini wallet or to hold cards. I currently use it to hold business cards and any other extra cards I have.
Mini Pochette
One of my favorite pieces ever! The mini pochette was the first LV item I purchased in the actual store. The first time I felt so “cool” buying something in the boutique, haha. This month actually marks the two years of having it! It’s been used every week for the past 2 years with no signs of wear, still looks brand new! That is absolutely crazy. I love using this as a wristlet when I go out, but I also use it as a catch-all in my bigger bags when I’m not using it as a wristlet. The mini pochette comes with a gold chain that you can use as a mini purse or clip it to the same side and use as a wristlet. It can also be used as a wallet or even a mini crossbody bag if you attached a long strap to it! This piece is so versatile and I just love it!
6 Ring Key Holder
I remember I had been wanting this 6 Ring Key Holder in Monogram/Rose Ballerine for months….and my sister and dad surprised me with it for my birthday last year in 2017. It’s been used for my keys almost everyday for over a year straight, and I’ve had no issues with it! Still in great condition with no glazing issues yet (*knock on wood*), and the button snap hasn’t worn as bad as I thought, especially for using it almost everyday! This is a special piece for me because it was a gift, and I will cherish this forever! I definitely been wanting to get my initial hot stamped on it but always keep forgetting, haha. I use one of the empty rings to hook a wristlet strap to it so I can hold it easier (I have a post about that here). I love using this for my keys so they don’t scratch my purse or anything inside my purse. I love that there’s an interior pocket that can fit a couple cards and cash too if you want to use it as a clutch! This is a total forever piece!
Rosalie Coin Purse
Say hi to Rosalie, my latest SLG purchase that I got a couple months ago for my birthday. My sister and I got matching Rosalie’s, so this is a special piece because of our sister bond. As I mentioned earlier, I used my agenda as my wallet for quite awhile. I didn’t have an actual wallet, but I had been wanting one for awhile. The Rosalie is perfect because it’s compact, exactly what I had been looking for. It’s a great wallet to hold cash and cards and even some change. And of course I love that Rose Ballerine interior! The button snap has unfortunately had more wear on it in two months than my key holder did in one year (even though it’s babied more than my key holder), but I can always get it replaced by LV. I haven’t had any other issues with the wallet so far besides that!
