Yup, we are back in Lake Tahoe again! I know we just recently visited, but there is so much to do and see there that we didn’t have a chance on our previous trip. Also still plenty more to check out for another future trip there!

This time we stayed in Reno first, then head out to Tahoe for the two days after that. (Reno post will be up by next week).

On the first day in Tahoe we were mostly at the beach hanging out in the Tahoe Vista area. The weather was nice and we had a good time shooting pictures and footage.

 

The next day we stopped at a barbecue place to eat lunch, then head out to sightsee in South Lake Tahoe.

 

 

The first few hours were spent near Emerald Bay around the DL Bliss State Park. We shot some footage and photos and enjoyed the gorgeous views.

 

Aaron got some amazing footage with the drone and GoPro too!

 

 

Afterwards, we head out to the Cascade Falls trail to hike up and view the waterfalls. Button was definitely a trooper and hiked the entire way there and back, which was quite a few miles (and definitely not a flat dirt trail).

 

 

The hike was actually really fun, with gorgeous views to overlook during the walk. I’ve definitely been loving nature a lot more lately – the trees and natural life that is on this earth is absolutely beautiful. There’s also a lot of health benefits being out in nature and it definitely boosts our creativity.

 

 

The waterfalls were minimal during this time, but still beautiful none the less spilling through the rocks.

 

 

The hike back was a little more tiring because we had to climb up the rocks this time, but it was still a good hike and definitely felt good. The kiddies were troopers during it all but were definitely tired by the end of the day!

 

 

Overall it was a nice trip, with new sights seen and a lot of amazing photos.
