🤘🏼The band Good Charlotte has been my favorite for over 15 years. As some of you may remember, I saw them perform at the fair last year (post here), and I caught Billy’s guitar pick and had the time of my life. Good Charlotte recently came out with a new album and are currently on tour, so on November 20th my dream came true of finally meeting the guys! My sister and I attended the San Francisco show at the gorgeous Warfield Theatre and had VIP meet and greet passes.

We had to check in at 4pm for meet and greets, and we arrived around 3pm so we stopped at the bar next to the theatre and had some snacks before heading in. The bar was pretty cool and they even played a couple Good Charlotte songs in honor of the concert! It was a fun way to pre-game and get us even more excited!

After we got in line and checked in, they unfortunately had us wait for an hour in a half outside before letting us in, which wasn’t cool! After finally letting us inside the theatre they directed us into the room to meet the band. We were near the end of the line (which was moving rather quickly) and they handed out some free Good Charlotte bandanas for us to keep. They had a personal photographer taking the meet and greet photos but my sister and I planned to also take some behind the scene photos on my phone of each other as well.

Once it got to my turn, I hugged Dean, then Paul, then Joel. Joel asked what my name was and I also told him I’ve loved them since I was 12 years old. I then hugged Billy and once I got to Benji (my fave) he said “fist pumps today, I’m sick” haha. So I got to fist pump Benji and was just sooooo star struck haha. They were all soooo amazingly sweet, Joel was very interactive with us.

After they took my photo, my sister hopped in for her own photo and afterwards Benji was like “You guys are all dressed and ready for the concert huh?! Girls night out!” He definitely loved our outfits, haha.

It was really amazing to meet them, I feel my life is complete now!! I’ve wanted to meet them for years! After we met them we went out to the lobby and by then it was 6pm. There were three opening bands which didn’t start until 7, so my sister and I grabbed some nachos, beer, and took selfies until the show started. We also purchased a couple GC shirts and socks for our souvenirs!

I got us seats in the lower lodge section, because those had actual seats where we could chill. I didn’t want to be in general admission where you had to stand and unable to leave or else you would lose your spot. It was awesome having seats and being able to leave to get more beer during the opening acts and use the restroom, haha.

Out of the three opening band acts, our favorite was The Dose. They were the newer and first opening act but were really entertaining and had some good songs. Good Charlotte finally went on at 9:30pm. It was absolutely AMAZING. They sounded great and the whole show was just so much fun. Good Charlotte concerts are literally the best. I could attend every weekend! Singing and dancing along to all their music was just life.

Our view was perfect and the whole concert went absolutely amazing. Thank you Good Charlotte for always putting on a fun and cool show!! The concert ended around 11pm, so it was an amazing hour and a half of GC songs. Concert ended with ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous’ with streamers protruding out everywhere at the end.

Can’t say enough how much fun my sister and I had! Until next time, GC! 🤘🏼
