Outfit Details: Selena Crop Tank, Rope Hat, White Levi’s, White Ankle Boots, Hoop earrings
In honor of Tejano singer, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, Forever 21 recently launched their White Rose Collection featuring Selena merch. Growing up being a Selena fan, I was extremely excited to pick up a couple items in honor of her legacy. Not only did Selena have amazing music, but she was also known for her style – she created her own stage attire and opened her own boutique. She was ahead of her time in fashion – she wore a lot of styles people still wear to this day. 💃🏻
24 years ago to this day was when we lost this beautiful legend. And 4 years ago to this day is when I lost my grandpa. In honor of these two beauties and my Mexican culture, I believe this post was necessary! 😇😇
I picked up a ‘Selena’ crop tank and the black rope hat to have a Selena type look, and of course it looked super cute! I love that the crop top has a list of some of Selena’s top hits on the back! I wish the top was a little more form fitting, but it’s cute just to have and honor Selena.
I paired them with white pants and white ankle boots, because Selena would often wear all white outfits.
And of course I had to top it off and wear the iconic Selena x Mac lipstick in ‘Como La Flor’!
