How to Shop Used: Find Unique Clothing

Outfit Details: Vintage Adidas Windbreaker similar, High Waisted Fashion Nova Jeans, Adidas Terrex Hiking Shoes, Button Down Long Sleeve Crop Top

As some of you may know, I’m a huge fan of vintage shopping! Most of the time for unique furniture and decor, but if there is a rare clothing item that presents itself, I will definitely snatch it up! For example, I’ve found a couple of rare Adidas jackets (that I wouldn’t be able to find in store) on the Poshmark app for decent prices!

If you sign up for a new Poshmark account, use the code: MICALAV to get a $10 credit to your account! (This is definitely not sponsored by the way, I have legit used Poshmark for a couple years now buying and selling with no issues and found some great items)!

I found this hot pink Adidas windbreaker on Poshmark for like $23. I’ve never seen anybody else wear this and it can’t be purchased anywhere new online. These are the types of used clothing I like to buy! It was in perfect condition with no flaws, and never even felt like I purchased a used jacket. Also, nobody could tell it would be used either. This jacket was probably well over $70 new!

I’ve worn this jacket so often lately, it’s one of my favorites. I got the size small, which is more like a medium on me but that’s how Adidas sizing is. I like that it’s a little bigger and has the 90’s vibe to it, along with the colors and style.

The rest of my outfit is new, but it was the perfect ‘fit to wear to Yosemite National Park. It wasn’t too hot and not too cold there during the time we went, so the windbreaker was perfect over this button down crop top. Of course I wore my Adidas hiking shoes since we were in nature, and the grip on these shoes really help when climbing over rocks and walking through trails!

The little bits of snow that was still here was gorgeous! The waterfall was also running this time, because last time we visited it wasn’t! Super gorgeous!

We actually stayed at Yosemite Cedar Lodge, and I didn’t find out until later that it was the exact hotel Cary Stayner (Yosemite Park Killer) worked where he abducted and murdered the 4 girls in Yosemite back in 1999. Creeps!

The day we left it was a chunky knit sweater and leggings kind of day, of course with the same hiking shoes.

You can find some unique second hand finds at consignment shops and thrift stores, but if you’re wanting to online shop, Poshmark is definitely one of the easiest apps to use.

Be sure to use my code MICALAV to receive a $10 credit to your account, it’s a limited time only (it’s normally $5), so be sure to sign up now and find some new stuff!
