When I tell you this was a last minute trip to Lake Tahoe, I’m telling you for a reason! Spur of the moment trips are always extremely fun, but sometimes that means you don’t even have time to get ready for it! Let me tell you, this was second day hair AND makeup in these photos! Yes, crazy, isn’t it?! I literally have the same hair and makeup from the previous day – fell asleep (yes, with makeup on which I dislike doing!), woke up and we were on our way to Tahoe once again.

 

 

I was hesitant on even taking pictures because of this, but thought ‘hey, what the heck, I’m out here…I won’t let this stop me from working, so might as well.’ And I’m sure plenty of you guys have felt the same way, but you can’t let it get to you. Touch up your hair and makeup with your fingers and let the camera work in your favor.

 

 

A simple white button down crop top along with some cute Adidas track pants is not only a comfortable way to travel, but it’s cute too! Pair it with a denim jacket to top it off, which is perfect to cover the breeze on the beach if you’re near water. It’s definitely a quick and easy look for a last minute trip, and you didn’t need to do your hair and makeup either 😂. All you gotta do is improvise!

 

 

This was a great last minute trip to South Lake Tahoe. We made new discoveries since our last trip out here as well. Since we recently became vegetarians, we actually discovered the most delicious veggie burger on this trip at a restaurant called Freshies. They cook it using their own recipe and it’s amazing! We came back a couple weeks later and had it again too.

 

 

It was also my first time at this gorgeous beach right off the lake. Having the view of the snow capped mountains and the most clear and clean water ever was breathtaking! We were here for hours just enjoying the views.

 

 

South Lake Tahoe is one of our favorite last minute quick trips, and easy style looks are endless. No need to be fancy out in nature, and that’s the best part. You can still be cute but simple, so work it!
