Outfit Details: Los Angeles Arts District Graphic Crop Sweater, Ankle Leggings, Lamoda Platform Boots

 

This outfit is so simple – yet I received so many compliments on it this day! Several at the grocery store (random!) and everywhere else I happened to be. I know for a fact it’s because of these platform boots – they just make this simple outfit stand out to the max! The next blog post will go more in depth about these boots, but for now, that’s the secret to getting compliments on a simple outfit!

 

 

I’m loving crop sweaters for fall with high waisted ankle leggings! Such a cute and comfy match up. This sweater from Forever 21 is super cozy, and I love the Los Angeles Arts Districts graphic on it, because I’m a future LA art girl, haha.

 

 

If you’re wearing a piece that’s different and stands out – you’re bound to get compliments. Not everyone is wearing platform boots (especially to the grocery store), so people will be interested. That’s the number 1 tip to slaying that simple and basic outfit – include that one piece that is eye catching!

I mean, if I was wearing sneakers with this outfit, it would look like a regular casual day outfit, right?!

 

 

The weather has been in the low 70’s lately here in California, so these types of outfits are simple, yet practical for fall!
