Outfit Details: Multi-Colored Knit Sweater, Black Leggings, Ugg Australia Boots, Clear Backpack
In early November I visited Sequoia National Park, and by the end of November it was already snowing there! The weather was actually pretty nice during our visit – I thought it was going to be much colder. I even took my sweater off for a bit at one point!
I went to Sequoia with the mindset that it would be my first time, but when I got there and saw the General Sherman tree, it looked so familiar. I immediately had a sense that I had been there when I was younger. When I asked my dad about it later, he confirmed he had took us there before 😂
During this trip to Sequoia, we did a little hiking and saw the General Sherman tree (which is the largest known living tree on Earth, btw), but overall Sequoia didn’t seem much special to me. I really imagined huge sequoias literally everywhere there, which it wasn’t – just regular trees that felt like any other national park or Tahoe. We probably had to go deeper into Sequoia for those views, but didn’t hav enough time that day. The drive into Sequoia was especially horrible, complete windy roads for miles that almost got me dizzy, haha.
I definitely enjoy Yosemite National Park more, there is much more to do and eat there while also getting the beautiful views of nature.
During our hike we found a tree log with four different colored pine cones sitting all in a row, which we thought was so adorable. It ended up being the perfect background for the only photos I took there 😂
Sweater weather is here, and you can’t go wrong with a cozy sweater! I love this multi colored one I wore in Sequoia, of course with typical leggings and some Uggs. I also bring this clear backpack everywhere now 😩
Overall, it was of course still a great time and trip, just not what was expected. I would definitely visit again though to do more exploring, as one day is never enough time to explore anywhere! It would be amazing to check out in the snow ❄️🌨
Have you been to Sequoia? What was your favorite sight or thing to do there? Let me know!
