How I’m Entering 2020 Strong and Successful

New year, new me is what they all say. But this new year is different – it’s a new decade! I can’t believe we are rolling into 2020 in a matter of weeks. The past ten years have flew by so quickly. To think ten years ago I was beginning college and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. To think [almost] five years ago I started this blog. And been working towards my goal of being a successful blogger ever since.

I’ve always had goals – and a lot of them haven’t happened yet. The only thing you can really do is work towards them. Fun Fact: The #1 thing I’ve always wanted to be was [and is] a fashion designer. I’m always coming up with clothing designs and imagining the exact outfit in my head for my petite frame. That’s one reason I even started this blog, as a creative outlet to showcase my style and different ideas along with modeling.

Anything can still happen in the future, as long as I continue to work on myself and my brand. Same goes for you. Never give up on your dreams. Keep on working and you will get there. There is no rush – just be happy and work towards your goals! I know it seems like a slow process sometimes, but everyone’s timing is different. I know mine is taking longer than others, and thats OK, because I know it will be fine as long as I keep going. I believe in myself.

When you keep that positive mindset, that’s how you will enter 2020 strong and successful.

For the past decade I’ve had long hair (as most of you may know), so for the new year I decided to cut my hair short! Yup, I did it. This is the last blog post you will see my long hair in. I wanted to start off this new decade fresh, free, and strong. My spiritual growth will be fresh and continue to flourish, and I’ll be in a clear mental state for all my new adventures to success.

What are your goals for 2020? I’m excited to see what the future holds and will happily continue to work on my goals until dreams come true!

-Also, these photos were taken right after the roller-skate shoot, which is why I’m wearing the same top, haha. Just threw on my favorite denim longline jacket and took a few photos out on the MH bridge afterwards!

My journey seems slower than most too, but I completely agree it’s so important to just keep doing what you love!
