Tiny bags are the cutest – but the Mini Speedy HL definitely hits the top 5. Not only a cute miniature of the regular Speedy 25 and up, the extensive history of these mini speedy’s really hit a special place.

This particular Louis Vuitton Mini Speedy is from the early 90’s – definition of a true vintage mini bag. Mini Speedy’s are mainly known for handing them down to toddler daughters because of how tiny they are, and I can see why. Yes, they are extremely tiny (in a good way)!

Recently, the Mini Speedy’s have made a comeback and prices have been soaring in the pre-loved market for one of these ($500 and up for one in good condition). A couple years ago you could pick one up for $200 or less, so consider yourself lucky if you find one now for that price. These aren’t made anymore and can only be purchased second hand. LV currently makes a Nano Speedy, but those are a little bigger than the Mini and they also have a non detachable strap.

So, what fits in the Mini Speedy you ask? It’s much more tinier in person than in photos, but because of the larger width it can fit more inside than in a Mini Pochette.

My iPhone XS can fit, but it’s a hassle to get in and out, especially if there are items in the bag. So I tend not to put my phone in there.

While using the Mini Speedy, I carry only the essentials:

-Hand Sanitizer

-Disposable Gloves

-Gum

-4 Ring Key Holder

Styling the Mini Speedy is extremely effortless! Add a strap to wear crossbody if your outfit is more casual. My outfit here is semi casual, but the light colors and details make it a bit dressy. The Mini Speedy will literally match anything, so that’s the good thing about it too! Add a chain keychain across the bag for the more elegant look, or a casual keychain like mine for a cute style.

This Mini Speedy is over 27 years old, and I didn’t want one in perfect condition. I wanted one that was already worn so I wouldn’t have to worry about it getting ruined. It’s such a cool bag with a lifetime left in it. I love the vintage look and history of an LV as well, so this one was perfect!
