Outfit Details: PLAID COAT (Similar), WOOL BERET HAT, BELL SLEEVE SWEATER DRESS, BLACK TIGHTS, BROWN BOOTS, WHITE SNOW BOOTS (similar), LOUIS VUITTON CANNES VANITY BAG
Ahhh! Winter and Christmas are just around the corner – so we need to be prepared with all the cute winter coats and accessories!
I recently made a trip to Yosemite National Park, where the transition from fall to winter was beginning to happen with some light snow.
This outfit is not only perfect for winter, but versatile and easy to put together. The #1 thing you need this winter is a warm coat! Find a few quality coats that you can mix up during the winter – black, plaid, maroon, etc.
I picked up this adorably cute tan plaid coat at one of my favorite downtown Campbell, CA boutiques, Bombshell Boutique. This was a hit at the store and sold out within a day. They do have a similar one in stock right now, but in black. You can order online from their website here!
Plaid coats are great, because you can interchange the colors with different bottoms or bags to match. An all black coat is also a must, as well as a different colored solid coat! Wool coats are a great buy, both warm and great quality! The coats below are a good mixture to have in your wardrobe:
As I’ve mentioned in the previous post, I’ve been loving tights for winter. I have doubled sheer tights on for warmth, but you can also pick up fleece lined tights for warmth too!
Another great winter must-have is a wool beret hat! I love this style hat, it gives your outfit a whole feminine look instead of a regular knit beanie. It’s also incredibly warm and gives total Gossip Girl vibes.
For photos I wore brown leather knee high boots, but when we hiked I wore these white winter boots just in case there was snow on the trails (but there wasn’t). And yes, I would hike wearing my Louis Vuitton Cannes bag 🤣. I was so extra during this hike but look at the cool pics we were able to get!
Layering a cute sleeved dress or long sleeve under a coat is one of my faves. As you can see, I had a bell sleeved sweater dress underneath the coat with the sleeves peeking out. Layering sleeves, socks, necklines, etc. is always a great way to make it look like you tried harder in putting together an outfit!
This sweater dress from Bombshell Boutique has the most flattering and form fitting shape! I love the simple details on this dress like the ruched neckline, and slightly puffed and bell ended sleeves.
This dress is still available to purchase online or in store at Bombshell Boutique here! They also have it in black here.
