If you’re like me and still aren’t over wearing your summer dresses, then tights are a must! I’ve been obsessing over the tights with dresses look this season, and have been investing in all kinds. Black ones, nude sheer, white ones, printed ones, and warm fleece lined ones!
Not only do they give your outfit a whole new look, but they keep you warm and stylish for the winter! No need to rush to leggings or sweatpants. Tights has got you covered! Slip under any summer dress and a coat over, and you got yourself a cute winter outfit – easy!
This was actually my Thanksgiving look, and I’m loving how elegant and elevated it brings my style. This dress is actually the Alessandra dress by Marc Jacobs from his Spring 2008 collection! It was worn by Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl but in another color!
I’m loving the oversized bow detail and how in-style this dress still is. The chevron knitted tights give it a whole different look than with bare legs!
I paired them with these cute patent Prada pumps and this vintage red Louis Vuitton Cannes bag from 1995! I’ve seriously been in love with red bags lately, they literally make any outfit pop! I like the shape of this particular bag, and the uniqueness it brings to each look.
My new Audrey Leaf Dangle earrings from Brivee Boutique matched perfectly with this outfit! The longer style of this earring was perfect to elongate my face since I wore my hair up. It’s definitely an elegant look that I’ve been enjoying lately.
So if you don’t enjoy wearing pants, opt for tights – I promise it will elevate your look completely! The fact that there are so many different colors and designs is cool because you can literally add it to any skirts and dresses you own! Wear knee high boots over the tights with a skirt and it will look like you tried harder than you did on your outfit that day.
