Hi lovelies! California weather has been a little crazy lately…hot and sunny to stormy rain to hot and sunny again. This outfit sums it up, as it’s warm enough to wear a dress but still a little chilly enough for a cardigan – um does that make sense? 😂

The color white isn’t commonly used as an accent color for an outfit, so I tried it out and the white totally made it have that modern 50’s type of vibe. And I love that!

 

 

This dress was basically ‘thrifted’ from a closet cleanse I recently did, which makes it fun and sustainable. I belted it with a skinny white patent belt from Amazon, which I’m obsessed with.

 

 

Another white accent I used was the ‘Venus Dangles’ earrings by Brivee Boutique. These are one of my favorite white earrings – super comfortable, easy, and cute!

I also paired white frilly socks with my Steve Madden booties for that extra accent. These boots are not quite white but more like an ivory, so the white socks were a nice mix for another white accent.

White is definitely an easy accent color to work with to make your outfit portray a whole different look and vibe. So many colors to interchange with, especially since I’m wearing coral and tan which still look great with the white accent.

 

 

I feel this cozy tan cardigan from Bombshell Boutique really made the outfit! And funny story, I bought this cardigan a few minutes before the shoot 😂. The neutral color of this cardigan really completed this whole ensemble!

Additional accessories like this heart hair clip and Quay Australia sunglasses was fun, along with my LV Neverfull MM for that profesh work-type look too!
