Hi lovelies! As I mentioned in my Yosemite post here, wool beret hats are a must-have for winter! They are a great accessory to own for sure. Not only warm & cozy, but they are more stylish than a regular beanie. They elevate your outfit completely, and if styled correctly, you won’t feel crazy or out of place.

 

 

I love this particular pearl wool beret. It’s feminine, chic, and definitely makes the outfit stand out. Because the beret is pink, I wear a few light pink accents like the bralette, floral earrings, sunglasses, and puff ball keychain on my purse. I don’t overwork the pink since it’s already on the beret.

 

 

 

For a classy beret look, I paired it with this puff sleeved top from Bombshell Boutique (they also have it in black here) that I wore unbuttoned with the light pink lace bralette for accent. I tucked it into a skater skirt with light pleats for an A-line silhouette along with tights.

 

 

Since this look is so bright and fun, the Louis Vuitton multicolor Trouville bag went perfectly! The fun colors on this bag really made the outfit pop even more in contrast to the dark skirt and tights.

I love the LV multicolor line – not only does it make me happy just looking at it, these bags can really make your outfit super fun!

 

 

I also paired my Steve Madden Davist Bone leather boots to dress the outfit down just a tad bit (for example, if I wore heels or pumps, this outfit would look much more elegant).

I love these as everyday boots though – they can be paired with so many different outfits, and dressed up or down.

 

 

I loved the Floral Archies earrings by Brivee Boutique because they are super girly just like this outfit! The hint of pink matched all the other pink accents, and the grey matched my grey ruffle socks I had peaking out of the boots for a layered effect.

 

 

Sunglasses are always a good accessory as well, and I’m so obsessed with my limited edition Quay Australia x Too Faced sunglasses! I feel this style really flatters my face shape, and the pink is the cutest! Although they don’t make these anymore, several people on resale sites like Mercari (here for $52) and Poshmark are selling these!

 

 

Beret hats are easier to style than it may look! Some people may think they are ridiculous or ‘too’ French, but they are definitely a great and unique accessory. Think Gossip Girl in New York vibes! You can also dress beret hats down, with a simple cardigan and dress pants. And the fact they come in every color you can imagine is a plus!

Here are a few ideas on how to style a beret hat:

• Wear with a longer coat & dress
• With a chunky knit sweater, pleated skirt, and knee high boots
• With a cardigan tucked into dress pants and pumps
• Cape coat with a skirt and tights
