You guys won’t believe how many new pea coats I collected for this winter – and I live in California 🤦🏻‍♀️. I’ve been on such a pea coat kick because putting one on is so easy, warm, and makes you look like you tried harder on your outfit than you really did! They are seriously a must-have for winter!

So many great deals on high quality wool pea coats on Poshmark, Mercari, and eBay – so I would definitely check those out!

This particular ruffle trim pea coat is from Shein, but I also purchased it about a year ago. It’s a lightweight coat that I wear for basic outings, or when I don’t mind if it gets dirty.

 

 

This particular day was my first shoot of 2021, but it wasn’t planned! I thought it would be a basic day, but look how ‘dressed’ and put together I still look just by wearing this coat, even if it’s one of my ‘cheaper’ ones.

This button down crop top gives the area a little more definition, along with the tan look –  knee high boots and LV Neverfull tote. I wore grey leggings just to be comfy 😩.

 

 

There’s also so many ways you can style a pea coat! I can also wear a dress with tights, or even a tan skirt with tights with this same button down top. It would give this a whole different look just by changing the bottoms.

 

 

Not only is this a chic look, but it’s also comfortable! The best type of outfits are not only cute, but where you won’t feel like ripping them off at the end of the day.

 

 

Having pea coats for different occasions is always a good idea! I also like to have different colors, so I can curate a monotone look with a particular color in mind. And of course, more high quality wool coats to be actually warm but also stylish.

 

 

So if you don’t have a long pea coat or even trench coat, invest in one! You’ll feel warm like you’re in a robe but it won’t appear that way from the outside! Some have belts where you can define your waist, or you can always add one yourself to the outside!
