Being extremely petite and standing at only about 5 feet, it’s often difficult for me to find pants in the right length. I usually go for ‘ankle pants’ so they can hit me at a good length without being too long. Of course, a hem is always necessary, but I’d like to skip over that part and just find ‘ankle pants’ if I can.
These particular Sloan Pants from Banana Republic are in petite size, but extremely long, as you can see. I thought this would be cool for a different look, before I get tired of them being too long and decide to have them hemmed 😂.
I’m wearing about 4-5 inch wedges and they’re still a tad bit too long. I love this look though, as it does elongate the body and makes my legs appear longer! A flare on long pants will definitely give the body some height, so keep that in mind if you’re trying to look taller.
These really are cute work pants! I paired them with this olive green ruffle long sleeve from Bombshell Boutique for a feminine but sleek look. Although this top isn’t on their website, I did find a similar one, which is linked at the end of this blog post.
