How to Accessorize your Elevated Outfits

Hi lovelies! It’s been fun elevating our style together the past couple months, but it’s not over yet! (I mean, when is it ever?!) I wanted to go more in detail with: accessories. Accessorizing is just as important in completing an outfit. I haven’t always accessorized in my past outfits, but now that I’ve been growing, I’ve really been into jewelry and accessories more.

For this business savvy look, I stuck to the gold jewelry theme. Since this particular top from Bombshell Boutique (similar tops linked) had gold button detail on the sleeves, I had to go off that. Paired with a gold heart necklace (also from Bombshell, but not available anymore), and gold heart buckle belt, it all meshed together perfectly to complete the look. A belt is the perfect accessory to add, so if in doubt, belt it!

And yes, I love hearts 🥺💜

For earrings, I chose a couple from my Brivee Boutique collection with gold details. The new “Twenty-sevens” (shown in photo above) are cute statement studs with beaded detailing. Gorgeous earrings that also matched well with this outfit.

I also thought the Scalloped Jasmine’s with the gold hook details also looked amazing for that elegant touch.

Although it’s fun to accessorize, we don’t want to go overboard. Keep it simple and clean. If you’re ever in doubt, wear one statement piece and the rest of the pieces dainty. For example, you can wear a statement belt with a light dainty necklace and small earring studs.

Or you can wear large statement earrings with dainty bracelet/necklace and a smaller belt.

For my look here, I have statement earrings with a dainty necklace but also a semi-statement belt. It’s not too overpowering because it blends well with the gold accessory theme.
