Although there are tons of things to do in Las Vegas, I’ve broken it down to 5 fun activities you can do, both on strip and off strip. These are some of the activities I’ve personally done the past 9 months living in Vegas – places I would definitely go back to! And because of the never ending amount of things to do here in the city, this will definitely be followed by a Part 2 and 3 (or 4) 😂.
1. Pink Wa Wa – Pink Claw Machine Arcade 🧸
This is one of my favorite arcades, and not only because it’s pink 😅. Located in the Spring Valley area off Rainbow Blvd, Pink Wa Wa has a nice selection of fun plushies as prizes, as well as plushies you can purchase! Each token is $1, and on my first try here I actually won a plushie. Everyone is aware on how difficult it may be to win on these claw machines, but these ones were pretty fair. We won 3 plushies with $30, which equals to about $10 a plush. Not too bad! This place also isn’t as busy as other arcades, so you will have all the space to play and take cute instagrammable photos. It was the perfect spot for our pink Barbie date too!
2. Flight Club Social Darts at The Venetian 🎯
You miss 100% of the shots you never take 🎯. So try out the Flight Club Social Darts venue at the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian! This place is really fun to gather your friends and play darts. They have really nice and elegant carousel themed decor. Not to mention they have amazing cocktails and great food bites! I surprised my boyfriend here for his birthday this year and they had a nice birthday card signed by all the employees and a complimentary birthday cocktail for him when we arrived🥹. The service was amazing, and we had fun playing darts. Even if you’ve never played darts before you’ll get the hang of it here! They have different dart games to play and compete with your friends. They even record you shooting your darts and have a fun video they email you after your session!
3. The Lion Habitat Ranch 🦁🦒
The Lion Habitat Ranch is a hidden little gem in the Henderson area that not everyone knows about! It’s the retirement home for some of the lions seen in past MGM exhibits and to other exotic animals in need. You can tour the ranch and see lions and even feed Ozzie the Giraffe! All donations go towards the cost of running the facility and the food for the animals. Tickets are $25 or $20 for locals. You can also go free for the month of your birthday, which is what I did for my birthday this year! I had so much fun seeing the animals up close and even feeding Ozzie the Giraffe. This place is a must see, and I can’t wait to go back again!
4. High Roller Observation Wheel 🎡
Talk about views on the High Roller 🎡! It’s a giant indoor ferris wheel with gorgeous city views located at The Linq Hotel. Each cabin can hold around 40 guests, and some cabins even have a full bar! Luckily we had a whole cabin to ourselves! The High Roller will also always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where my boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day at sunset 🥹. It’s a fun way to view the city and have fun with your friends and fam!
5. The Golden Tiki 🍹
Let’s end the night (or should I say post) at the most popular local bar in Las Vegas: The Golden Tiki. This 24 hour bar and lounge is one of the best for locals. It’s always packed with a full bar, so reservations to get a table are a must. They have great tiki drinks and small bites. With their beautiful decor and tiki vibes, this place is the ultimate hang out spot to drink and have fun with friends. This is definitely one of the bars I’ve been to the most, and it was also a stop for a recent date night.
