Welcome to the first weekend of the world being reopened here in California after a year and a half! As we all transition from wearing pajamas 24/7 to the cute clothes of real life….where do we even begin?! Did you happen to forget how to dress?! If you did, no worries, we’ll start slow – and keep you stylish and confident as you make your way out to the normal world again.
This look is the ultimate casual but stylish outfit to wear anywhere as you start your transition. Brunch, shopping, errands, you name it. This adorable bandeau and matching cardigan set by Worn By Ana is the perfect set to wear with jeans instead of a basic T-shirt or jacket. It’s great for a sunny but breezy day! This set also comes in black and mint colors!

To dress up the casual outfit a bit, I wore chunky block heel sandals (instead of sneakers) and my Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessories crossbody bag (with a gold chain strap instead of a leather strap). I also accessorized with necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings! I love this layered necklace by Brivee Boutique for an easy way to look more put together.
I paired this set with the most comfortable high waisted jeans ever, from Express! Express has really changed the jeans game for me, as I’ve never found a pair that were truly comfortable, so I despised wearing them. They have the perfect amount of stretch, softness, and comfort. Not to mention their cropped jeans are the perfect length for my 5 foot frame. I highly recommend Express jeans – I have a pair in all the main colors you need – Blue, White, and Black. (My sister was wearing Express jeans here too!)
We spent the first weekend back in San Francisco – and it sure did feel weird seeing people with no masks, a full Pier 39, and feeling like a normal world again. Our day consisted of the The Crab House, Aquarium of the Bay, Ghiradelli ice cream, and walking around to find cool photo spots like the Umbrella Alley.
It was a great Father’s Day outing for my step dad and time spent with my step siblings who are currently visiting from Minnesota! They’re also taller than us now 😩.
As the world reopens, don’t forget to still stay safe and clean – we don’t want COVID getting out of hand again 😷!
